Background & Experience
Erica F. Augello focuses her practice on Civil Litigation Defense to include Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Municipal Insurance Defense, Civil Rights Litigation, as well as other constitutional claims. Her practice also includes Municipal and Government Entity Representation.
Erica was born in San Diego, California and as a member of a military family, has had the opportunity to live in various areas of the U.S. and abroad. Her travels led her to Auburn, Alabama where she attended Auburn University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. After college Erica embarked on a career in the financial services industry leading her to ultimately pursue a degree in law.
Erica attended Stetson University’s College of Law and holds a dual J.D./M.B.A. and a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy. With a passion for litigation, Erica was fortunate enough to be selected to join Stetson’s nationally ranked Mock Trial Team where she was able to hone her skills in the courtroom. In addition, Erica received the Victor O. Whele Award for trial advocacy as well as the Leadership Development Award. While at Stetson, Erica had the opportunity to travel to Scotland with Baylor Law School and further develop her trial advocacy skills at the Academy of the Advocate at St. Andrews with a formidable faculty to include Judge Ken Starr and Federal District Judge Ed Kinkeade.
Erica is admitted to practice in Florida including the Middle District of Florida.
Erica is a member of the Clearwater Bar Association, the St. Pete Bar Association, and a member of the American Bar Association.
