Background & Experience

Robert M. Eschenfelder is a Board Certified lawyer in city, county and local government law.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Eschenfelder served as Assistant City Attorney for the City of St. Petersburg, as Assistant and Chief Assistant County Attorney for Manatee County, and as a Special Magistrate for the City of Bradenton Beach.  He has also served in a variety of governmental offices including the St. Petersburg Planning Commission, the Pinellas Park Board of Adjustment, and the Florida Communications Service Tax Legislative Workgroup.

Rob has been extensively involved in the Tampa Bay community over the years, including being past president of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Affiliate, Inc., the Suncoast Tiger Bay Club, Inc., and the Leadership St. Pete Alumni Assn, Inc.  He is a graduate of the Leadership St. Pete and Leadership Manatee programs, and has also been a board member of the Leadership St. Pete Planning Committee, the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors, and Pinellas Cares, Inc.  Rob has also served as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for the 6th Judicial Circuit GAL Program, and has extensively lectured at Florida Bar and other programs on local government law and labor and employment law topics.
